Copenhagen Wolves have topped their domestic competition with a 2-1 (16-7 de_dust2_se, 6-16 de_inferno_se, 16-11 de_mirage_ce) besting of oXzone in the Danish ESWC qualifier final. The team now featuring Jacob "Pimp" Winneche were the favorites going into Sunday's qualifier, and quickly made their way to the grand final with two quick 2-0 wins versus momo momo and Cursive. Joining them in the grand final was the team of Winneche's former teammate and in-game leader Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, who had earlier in the day knocked out both Xapso and AWESOME.
Former number one team in Denmark, Westen Wolves, had two more ex-players in the qualifier as Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen and Nichlas "Nille" Busk also represented AWESOME and Xapso. Although Michael "Friis" Jørgensen's Wolves were favorites in the grand final, oXzone put up a good fight as they tied the series with a convincing win on de_inferno_se, but weren't able to match Cph Wolves' effort on the third map.
